Define access credentials for user groups
JDisc Discovery requires access credentials to discover device data in a network. In larger networks, multiple different access credentials often exist. To avoid alerts from Intrusion Detection Systems it is recommended to test as few combinations of user names/passwords as possible.
By using JDisc’s group definitions, you can define the access credentials for a group and consequently reduce the list of possible user names.
